My explanation for my last year and a half in WG.
« on: August 26, 2012, 09:06:14 am »
I've been considering giving a sort of explanation to why I'm starting to train, tank, recruit since some WG/DG members and ex members are wondering.

Well, I guess I'll start with my slow albeit severe loss of interest in RuneScape during my time in WG.
I mean, I can't really blame WG for that at all, but I can blame the lack of creative content and literally nothing of interest coming out of Jagex for the longest time for making me and many others lose nearly all interest in RuneScape...Which is why I was rarely online and only attended Raids and Wars because they were the only thing worth playing...Which falls into my next point - Tanking and Training.

The difference between now and then is as I mentioned, lack of creative content behind JaGex and the fact that my A.D.H.D kicked in when I got bored while online.
I guess you can say there was a slight lack of PVP events in WG also(Which you guys are picking up the slack on! (Which makes me happy) and it put a sense of Relaxation in me and made me mildly unmotivated to improve myself despite wanting to and trying.
Also there was a sense of elitism in some of the members that really stressed me out quite a bit...

And the Recruitment...Well, I guess there's no explanation for that but if I could name something...It'd have to be that I'm now trying to be the ideal clan member at this point in time.

All in all, I have to thank WG again for a good 4 years, you'll always be my home.

o.O Was being F2P not a large factor in loss of interest in the game?

I guess that's a little bit of the reason, but Jagex haven't released very much interested P2P content either, so I'd have been bored regardless.
