Covering up their insecurity with massive ignorance and bullshit that they don't appreciate being called out on (otherwise their little comfort zone might get dented)...

But wait a minute...Christians keep telling me how their religion is about tolerance and they're a peaceful and understanding people, when I tell them that religion is bad. ALL RELIGION. It's just another thing to divide people into camps, ready to fight each other about stupid bullshit.
