Actually, because first they had the xbox number 1.

Then the xbox did a 360.

Now its back to xbox one.

im kinda shocked at how stupid people are acting over this..... currently games are locked to your xbl account such as arcades.... currently ea games require a code to play the game online that u have to pay $10 for if u buy it used.
people act like the added things to xbox one are a negative but  i don't see how in this case less is more.... myseelf i'd rather have the device that plays games  as well as the compitition but also has all  that other great stuff....  once a xbox fan always an xbox fan

alsoo if you want to play a game at your frriends house u just have to load your gamertag on his xbox... i do thiis all the tiime with friends of  mine so i caan play my arcade games with them

As for the name... I think they chose to call it xbox one because its an all in one entertainment system...not just gaming.

(oh and all those name jokes are so passé...some of them were even done when the 360 came out lol)
