Rise of the Six - Barrows update

So the barrows update just came out here some brief info:

New loot, including level 90 shields.

Materials for crafting level 90 power type melee armour. malevolent armour - level 90 power-type melee armour that sits alongside the mighty tectonic and sirenic sets. It's made by level 91+ smiths, using stabilised malevolent energy - a resource that can be won by escaping the Shadow Dungeon with your life - as well as reinforcing plate bought from Saro in Keldagrim

Also bobblehead pets drop.

There is a well north-west of the original barrows which you go down to get to the shadow dungeon.

You need a barrows totem to form a party (obtained from normal barrows or traded/GE) This party is formed until you win or everyone is dead or leaves.

They suggest a min of 180 combat and "with the very best gear available and every ounce of teamwork and combat skill that you can muster".

So was I, they was also speaking about client crashes after they die sometimes.

Imo not worth rushing to try. From my experience with when KK was released, I tried to join parties and attempted to kill it so many times. It was hours before I actually got a kill. I stayed there for about 11 hours and got nothing but deaths. To me it's more worth the time to sit back and learn from streams, videos, experimental/pro bossers until you at least know how to kill it somewhat.

edit: @JagexTimbo: @Lord_Zoinkwiz We've been posting on the forums, switch to OpenGL before you try to log in. There are issues with DirectX at the minute!

Thanks mojo I thought I put it in there but then I realised I didnt. Yeah it seems like you need a fair bit of co-ordination, just stick with nex xD
