Review: Runescape Legacy Combat


In this video I both summarise what Jagex have told us, and offer my feedback in the form of support, criticism and suggestions.
I find it easier to post videos than to write out essays.

As for the bank roll back, no. They knew they had to completely restart for 07. Bonds are only 6m EOC. thats approx 1m now on 07, thats not an entire bank. Anyone who transferred 1bil over is a fool.

Not sure how they're fools when it took Jagex this long to realize the mistake they made. No one expected Jagex to pull this "Legacy Combat" update...

I blame Mod Mark, Design Director. Is there anyone else? He's also the one that's saying he doesn't want "skillers" in the wilderness. Then again, I can't say for sure.

Other than the select few that did what people wanted in 07, the live game J-Mods seem to not care. I mean it's easy to say that and make it look like they're 'listening to the players', but their actions don't reflect it...PvP and the wilderness hasn't changed much for as long as I can remember.

They've done a job and it's showing. Imo they've been trying to players hooked with stuff like free exp. If it wasn't for that who knows what the playercount would be like.

Just a random thought, what if we had the pre EOC combat activated in the wilderness? and leave all the PvM aspects with EOC intact
I'm not quite sure what that would do to the economy, but maybe that might revitalise the wildy in RS3.

Would there be any implications to this suggestion?
