My day with the Scammers.

So i got a phone call earlier or more my dad did.
Apparently it was microsoft ringing me up about an error in my PC.
Dad confused as fuck gave the phone to me.
I ran through my brother did have an error.

So this guy tells me to go to a website called Ammyy. I was a bit hesitant anyway it was a screen sharing. I was instantly like i dont like this. So i do what everybody should do if being told to go to a dodgy website. Check the verified things at the top. What do you know. It wasnt. Instant end of call..

Make sure you dont fall for anything like this guys. I didnt but apparently a fair few people do.

These are really common in NZ unfortunately (though, they're really well publicised now so very few people fall for them).  Sadly as our phone number isn't listed I've never had one at my house, but one did call while I was at my grandparents & I had a good 30 minutes of fun wasting his time.

Always more fun to act computer illiterate so they have to work out what you've done wrong
