The current day Wilderness Guardians are nearly exclusively focused on P2P activities on both [[RuneScape 3]] and [[Old School RuneScape]]. This was not always the case. From [[2003]] until [[2005]] WG was largely a F2P clan, mostly [[PKing]] in the [[Wilderness]] and hosting [[Event|events]] outside of it. This started to change in 2005 with major P2P wars such as [[War#WG_vs_Dead_on_Arrival|WG vs Dead on Arrival]] taking place. From this point onward P2P activity was a major part of the Wilderness Guardians existence.

WG has fought many hundreds of P2P battles over the years. Notably in 2005 WG became the first clan to use Ancient Magicks in a war against Dead on Arrival. The war was recorded and the resulting Video [[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTLSxu_E0OY|Video]] became very popular within WG and the wider [[clan]] world.
