looks like a pretty nice computer, MSI objects don't last as long as EVGA/GIGABYTE ones though.. just some words of advice if you ever decide to build a better computer later on. I have 6 homemade computers 1 for each of my siblings so I would know. The one I am using right now has a Gtx650 Ti boost with an AMD Phenom(tm) X4 940 Processor 3.00 GHz also has 4.00 GB Ram which if you do go over 4 gig ram you gotta be insane. ;)

yeah it does seem pretty great from the specs I read online... i know for sure it is better than my graphics card in some aspects but every graphics card has something it runs faster/better at, overall nice computer Kat. (H) Welp back to afk thieving for another 120 cape.

The GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB has clock speeds of 928 MHz on the GPU, and 1350 MHz on the 2048 MB of GDDR5 memory. It features 768 SPUs along with 64 TAUs and 16 ROPs.

Compare those specs to the Radeon HD 7950, which has a GPU core clock speed of 800 MHz, and 1536 MB of GDDR5 RAM set to run at 1250 MHz through a 384-bit bus. It also features 1792 Stream Processors, 112 TAUs, and 32 Raster Operation Units.
(No game benchmarks for this combination yet.)

Power Usage and Theoretical Benchmarks
Power Consumption (Max TDP)
GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB       110 Watts
Radeon HD 7950       200 Watts

Difference: 90 Watts (82%)

Memory Bandwidth

Theoretically, the Radeon HD 7950 should be much faster than the GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB in general. (explain)

Radeon HD 7950       240000 MB/sec
GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB       86400 MB/sec

Difference: 153600 (178%)

Texel Rate
The Radeon HD 7950 will be much (more or less 51%) better at anisotropic filtering than the GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB. (explain)

Radeon HD 7950       89600 Mtexels/sec
GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB       59392 Mtexels/sec

Difference: 30208 (51%)

Pixel Rate
The Radeon HD 7950 is much (approximately 72%) better at AA than the GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB, and also capable of handling higher resolutions without slowing down too much. (explain)

Radeon HD 7950       25600 Mpixels/sec
GeForce GTX 650 Ti 2GB       14848 Mpixels/sec

Difference: 10752 (72%)

Please note that the above 'benchmarks' are all just theoretical - the results were calculated based on the card's specifications, and real-world performance may (and probably will) vary at least a bit.

If it is the card you have... then that is some nice specs on the texel rate, pixel rate, etc. compared to my card. ;)
