Recruitment video

A recruitment video (or recruitment movie) is a video produced by the Wilderness Guardians with the intention of gaining the interest of other RuneScape players. Since 2007, WG has produced numerous recruitment videos, with early versions being notable for featuring His Lordship presenting them in person through the use of chroma key compositing ("greenscreening"). The last official recruitment video produced by His Lordship was in 2015.

2007
The first recruitment video presented by His Lordship was produced on or around 8 July 2007. It is believed to have been fairly popular, and was uploaded to YouTube and posted on RuneScape Community where it received generally favourable reviews.[1] The video was removed at an unknown point in time, but a copy was re-uploaded by His Lordship in 2013 - however it is believed to be a shortened/edited version as it ends somewhat abruptly.[2]
