Pens
The clan pens were sets of limited-edition banner pens designed by the Wilderness Guardians. A total of 2,000 pens were produced - 1,000 each for RuneFest 2010 and RuneFest 2011.
2010

The 2010 pens were designed by His Lordship. They came in three colours (red, orange, and blue), and all featured an identical "banner" which could be retracted to reveal information about the clan. The front side had a WG logo (visible even when the banner was retracted), a screenshot from The Great War, the design of the WG t-shirt, and the following points:
- Led by Runescape's longest serving clan leader
- Play when you like, how you like
- Over 100 types of events
- Endorsed by JaGeX
- Established in 2003
- All timezones
- Best clan website:
www.wildernessguardians.com
The back of the banner had a Flash background using characters from The Wilderness Guardians (2010 Machinima), and the following text:
Well... this sucks.
I'm His Lordship, leader of the Wilderness Guardians, and I have the ridiculous task of describing my legendary clan on this tiny sheet of paper. Well, here goes nothing.
Think of any clan you know. My clan is all of that, and more. You're not going to find a clan with a more experienced leader (I founded WG in 2003), or one with as many events (100+ types of events and counting), and you definitely won't come across clans more famous than us. I mean, we have the best website of all clans, a T-Shirt, and we even received endorsement on the Runescape main page. We've been raising the standards of Runescape clanning since before this game became a hit, and we want to keep it that way. We know that when it comes to clans, bigger is better. That's why I'm asking you to take just five minutes of your time to check us out and join the family if you like what you see. Unfortunately, this sheet of paper is about to run out, so why don't you browse our award-winning website (www.wildernessguardians.com) and put our reputation to the test?
His Lordship posted the plans for the pen on WG's IPB1 forums on 17 July 2010.[1] The pens were manufactured by Fuzhou Vibbon Handicraft Co., at a cost of USD $470 for all 1,000 pens and delivery costs - which several WG members helped to cover.[2]
