D-Day was an historical event in the Wilderness Guardians on 1 December 2006, which involved the temporary closure of the clan for a short period after a power struggle between His Lordship and the rest of the leadership. It is also the only time in WG's history that the clan has closed. D-Day resulted in the largest mass-leave in WG's history - with over 100 members posting their resignations within 3 days of the event, and bringing an end to the era as a top clan in RuneScape.
