Your Best Memory of RuneScape

Since we have a lot of players who have been playing for quite a while, as well as some genuine new players to OSRS, I'm curious on what your best RuneScape related memories are. It can be something recent, something silly, something to do with WG, or maybe another clan, let me hear em! 

 

For me, I have a few that really stand out to me:

 

I very clearly the first time I PKed "bank"; At the time I was probably 11 or 12 years old, and I remember walking with a couple of friends just north of New Gate, we were just exploring and acting tough like we knew what we were doing in the Wilderness, and some guy walked right into us with mystic robes and a dragon scim - of course we instantly attacked this guy with our MSBs and I remember freaking out about this "massive" PK I had gotten after he had died. I split it with my two homies and it was my first real taste of "loot" in the wilderness.

 

My first clan war was also a big moment for me; I remember being super excited that my group of friends and I were going to fight some other clan in the Wilderness for the first time, I was a bit sour immediately after the actual fight because I killed 2 people and died with the loot during the fight, but that adrenaline rush was just something I can never forget feeling, and I still to this day, love a good clan vs clan fight.

 

Lastly, when I was in one of my previous clans named "Downfall", we challenged RoT to a F2P fight in Clan Wars, even opts. The energy during that fight was insanely high, and I will never forget the feeling I had when we toppled what was once thought to be an "unbeatable" RoT in a clean 1v1 battle. RoT gained the early lead, 2 Rounds to 0, and we reverse swept them to wind up winning 3-2. TeamSpeak blew up and it was a high that my clanmates and I had for a long time. I wish I joined clans early game that video is epic . 
 

My best memory from the wilderness as I’ll keep it on that subject, it’s not as adventurous as yours mind. It’s more of me breaking my fear 
 

My early days of the game back 18 years ago or so I got lured into the wilderness for the Zammy wine Pk lure trick. I got lured so bad took all my best items, i took I think from memory 3m or so cash stack. I was so gullible I lost loads. I was so upset I was only early teens and it hit me so bad

 

After this I stayed away from the wilderness for years. Until I had to go to mage arena, I completed it and headed out to the bank. I saw someone walking to the first web, we were both getting to the web at the same time.. he must of mis clicked me as he attacked me first and I thought not again the first time I come back to the Wilderness, only this time I was prepared with runes and food and stuff so… sod it let’s go for him (he wasn’t wearing much but a rune chain I think and rune legs ) he started saying “please stop” and “I’ll pay you anything” “it was an accident” etc I remember it so bad because at the time I felt so bad but then I thought this must be something juicy plus he attacked me, I have nothing to lose.. so I killed him before he got to the lever and he dropped a mud battle staff, a bulk load of runes and for some reason noted lobsters about 1k of them.. along with loads of other junk.

 

This was my turning point  and got rid of my fear of the wilderness

my fondest memories were luring at varrock easts and graveyard, fighting rival teams like bloodhoun, fearny,elvemage, maikel pro etc

My favourite historic memory would be going out and PKing multi green drags back in the day with mates. Don’t think I joined a proper clan back then. 

 

My most recent favourite memory has to be the mage bank fight when it was like eliop rot bc tk vr, the whole clan world, all inside mage bank and we cleared wave after wave of people coming through the choke before finally going down (funnily enough - returning to mage bank isn’t quick!). After that we wiped them again with some decent Strats at Scorpia before getting a clean extract. Made it out with no food no p neck and 30 hp.

My most memorable times in OSRS will always be the 24-hour events. Would love to be a part of one one day agane but I think I'm a bit too much of an old man to host it myself.

Scratch that it's when Hatred died to mole.

My favourite moment would have to be the first time I smited a whip back when they were worth bank. I also still remember the day they came out with canoes and we would use them to get to moss giants when f2p pking and all the big multi clan f2p wars.

i remember it like it was yesterday i had a buddy his name was huss he was from the us i was a kid back then but we would go to yanille and go upstairs near the poh portal and chat about life and he would give me tips on how to improve myself better and would tell me about chelsea his gf back then his ign was iceman dont know if he still plays or for that matter if he's still on this planet but bless that man for the kind memory that i will forever keep dear to my heart
