His Lordship was a RuneScape player and Founder of the Wilderness Guardians clan, for which he served as Leader from 2003 to 2017 - making him the longest-serving clan leader in RuneScape. He was also well-known in the wider RuneScape community, in particular for being vocal about PvP-related issues to Jagex. He produced several popular RuneScape-related videos, had around 7,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel, and was a RuneFest Golden Gnome finalist. His Lordship fell into inactivity around 2014 and had retired from RuneScape completely by 2017, but returned for a brief period around 2020. He was succeeded as the Leader of WG by Brent147, and later Mojo.
RuneScape and WG History
His Lordship was introduced to RuneScape by his brother Lord Xin around July of 2003. When creating his account, he wanted the display name "My Lord" so that other players would address him as such - but this name was taken, and Lord Xin suggested "His Lordship" as an alternative. His Lordship has since expressed regret for the choice - he was not expecting to become a clan leader at the time. Nonetheless, for the vast majority of his RuneScape career he served as the leader of WG.
2003 - 2006

In December of 2003, His Lordship was PKed while collecting runes at the Dark Warriors' Fortress, resulting him developing an anti-PKing stance. He posted an anti-PKing topic titled "Read This If You Hate PKers" on the Rune Village fansite, and founded the Wilderness Guardians (originally known as the "PK PKs") as an anti-PKing clan on 6 December 2003. The clan was an instant success - with around 30 members joining within the first two days, and receiving support from other established clans such as The Sabres. His Lordship led WG for the majority of 2004 and 2005.
WG grew steadily under His Lordship's leadership, mainly due to their unique and innovative approach to PvP. WG was the first clan to make use of the Ancient Magicks spellbook in a war in July of 2005, which His Lordship considered to be one of the most enjoyable fights of his career. His Lordship also produced a large amount of media for the clan, including several war preparation videos, short animated movies, and a Flash website which recieved widespread acclaim within the wider clan community.
Despite their success, His Lordship and the clan had their fair share of issues during the early years. A backstabbing incident in August of 2005 led to His Lordship recording an aggressive rant over TeamSpeak to be played to the members responsible. The recording became public and made into a soundboard, which became one of WG's most infamous pieces of media. His Lordship also stepped down from leadership for several months in 2006, and the replacement leadership took the clan in a vastly different direction to what His Lordship had originally envisioned for WG. The resulting tension between the leadership culminated in His Lordship closing the clan for a few hours in December of 2006 (D-Day) - the only time WG has ceased operations in its history, and subsequently resulting in a loss of over 100 members.
