Fidelity was a RuneScape 2 clan founded by Draken Burst and Stokenut in 2007, and an exodus of the Wilderness Guardians.
History
Fidelity was created by the two leaders around April/May 2007, and a handful of WG members subsequently joined - including Flame Outlaw, who served as a leader.[1] Unlike the majority of exodi before it, Fidelity described itself as an "event-based clan" - primarily focused on community (fun) events and skilling, rather than PvP - though they did host occasional wars.[2]
While no significant hostilities occured between WG and Fidelity, Draken Burst's relationship with WG was considerably negative - she was known to have been abusive to two clanmates while in WG. During Fidelity's lifespan she created a smear campaign against WG, which resulted in her being banned from WG.[3] There are also some instances of her having disputes with WG members on the fansite RuneScape Community.[4][5]
In June 2007, Draken Burst scheduled a public joint Castle Wars event with Reign of Terror, and invited the wider clan community on the fansite RuneScape Community. On the topic, His Lordship expressed disappointment at her associating with a No-Honour clan.[6]
Stokenut returned to WG in late 2007, and has retrospectively stated that he regrets his involvement with Fidelity. Fidelity's RSC recruitment topic was last updated by Draken Burst on 23 November 2007, and by 6 December 2007 the Fidelity memberlist on RuneHead had been completely cleared - this is believed to indicate the closure of the clan.[7] By 15 January 2008, Draken Burst had updated her RS status on RSC to "Retired", and added "Quit" to her profile.[8]
