Pro Silentium

Pro Silentium was a skill-training programme within the Wilderness Guardians in 2008, similar to Operation Purple Haze.

On 26 May 2008, WG Leader Abs posted that the staff were planning a long-term training programme similar to OPH, and requested suggestions for names. "Pro Silentium" was offered by Spicy63, as it was the Latin phrase "For Perfection".[1] On 26 May Anatcrafter announced that the programmed was in development, and would involve members training 8 RuneScape skills used in warring (2 per month). Each skill had three tiers - high, middle and lower, and achieving them would earn members event attendance points.[2]

Pro Silentium was launched on 1 June 2008.[3] The programme should have run for 4 consecutive months; however September and November were postponed to include a 1-month break between each.[4] The top-ranked members alone gained around 35,000,000 total experience throughout the programme, with some gaining over 7,000,000 experience per skill. The four months, their respective skills, and the top-ranked members were:
