2008 was the 5th complete year of the Wilderness Guardians in RuneScape 2.

Summary

WG turned in a more community-focused direction in 2008 starting with their first real life meeting (London 2008) in January. However, subsequent leadership pressure caused His Lordship to step down from leadership, and Abs took his place for a few months. WG coped reasonably well with the removal of wilderness PvP and free trade - taking to the Clan Wars Arena, and performing well. A second real life meeting was held in Paris during early August, and the clan t-shirts were released afterwards. Despite criticism, over 40 were sold in the first month.
