<p>The clan traditionally masses at the Varrock west bank (though in later years they have massed at Falador instead), and walks to the Monastery where members pick cabbages for food. <p>The Clan Quest, also called '''Da Lordy Code''' is an event in which [[His Lordship]] hides somewhere in-game, and members are challenged with finding him. To do this, His Lordship releases clues as to his location, which have come in many forms including riddles, Flash animations, and even musical snippets. The Clan Quest is considered one of the most challenging events of the Anniversary, and has been held every year for which there has been an Anniversary except for 2007.</p>

Each of the 3 [[staff]] members ([[Leader]] [[Vio]] and [[Advisor]]s [[Mojo]] and '''Koffin Cat''') chose 1 of the first 3 events. Mojo's event "Battle Royale" came 1st which was a no-limits fight in the battlefield of WG's [[Clan Citadel]]. This was followed by Koffin Cat's "One Night In Cabbage" – a cabbage [[bomb]] at the Grand Exchange. Vio's "Steel of Legends" came 3rd, in which DG and allies [[BlacKnights]] took part in a steel fun [[war]] (with rune weapons) in the Wilderness. The celebrations ended with "The Rebirth" – a [[drop party]] for both WG and DG in the Citadel, hosted by Vio who dropped a number of items with a value of over 10,000,000 coins.</p>

For the first 3, the clan jokingly changed their name to the "Wildy Fr00bs" and held a parade in Falador, a Congo Line and the Marketplace Disruption, in which they attempted to sell "poo". <p>Day 4 on the 21st had 2 events: the Photo Shoot and a public, P2P Drop Party. Themes for the Photo Shoot ranged from the "Nerd Club" to the "Dark Lords". Many Rune and Dragon items were dropped at the subsequent drop party, and the clan was wished happy birthday by many non-WG members as well.</p>

<p>Day 5 on the 22nd had Hide and Seek and Scavenger Hunt events planned. The Hide and Seek took place which was similar to the Clan Quest, and His Lordship gave away 500,000 GP in Rune items as prizes for the winners. After, the Scavenger Hunt event was replaced with a Kalphite Queen mass. The event was described as "interesting", with a note that no one lost anything of great value - suggesting that there were a considerable number of deaths.</p>

For the Clan Quest, His Lordship was located on the first floor of the Varrock Castle. The KBD mass took place after as planned, but instead of the drop party to conclude, a Trawler Trip was hosted instead.</p>

<p>Day 7 was planned for the 24th of December, but postponed to January 7th, 2005. It involved a large-scale Iron war at the Demonic Ruins in the Wilderness. [[Exodi#The Synergy|The Synergy]], [[Allies#Fear; Phobia|Fear]], [[Allies#Legends Legion|Legends Legion]], [[The Sabres]] and WG all took part. Unfortunately, the fight was crashed by '''Zeonic Forces''', with allegations of '''Damage Incorporated''' having been present as welll. The previously-postponed P2P drop party took place afterwards, where over 3,000,000 GP value in items was dropped. WG's 20th anniversary at the Clan Hall in Old School RuneScape, 6 December 2023

The Anniversary (sometimes called the Clanniversary) is an annual series of RuneScape events held to celebrate the birth of the Wilderness Guardians on 6 December 2003.

Anniversary celebrations are held once a year and consist of a series of mostly in-game events for WG members, some of which are open to the public. The anniversary is usually held on or around the clan's birthday on the 6th of December; however anniversaries have often taken place over the course of several weeks, sometimes even well into the following year. The anniversary occasionally gets its own specific board or boards on the forums, and there may be as many as 20 different events for members to take part in. Since 2013, anniversary celebrations are held in both Old School RuneScape and RuneScape 3.

DG Anniversary

WG's junior clan Descendant Guardians has celebrated one anniversary. This took place on 20 June 2012, exactly one year after The Reckoning in which the third iteration of DG was established.

4 events were held in total, lasting over four hours over the course of the single day. Each of the 3 staff members (Leader Vio and Advisors Mojo and Koffin Cat) chose 1 of the first 3 events. Mojo's event "Battle Royale" came 1st which was a no-limits fight in the battlefield of WG's Clan Citadel. This was followed by Koffin Cat's "One Night In Cabbage" – a cabbage bomb at the Grand Exchange. Vio's "Steel of Legends" came 3rd, in which DG and allies BlacKnights took part in a steel fun war (with rune weapons) in the Wilderness. The celebrations ended with "The Rebirth" – a drop party for both WG and DG in the Citadel, hosted by Vio who dropped a number of items with a value of over 10,000,000 coins.
