Fidelity was a RuneScape 2 clan founded by Draken Burst in April 2007, and an exodus of the Wilderness Guardians. Draken Burst had a negative relationship with WG, and some minor hostilities occurred between the two clans during the course of its lifespan. Fidelity closed around December 2007, after around 8 months of activity.
History

Fidelity was founded on 23 April 2007 by former WG member Draken Burst[1], and some other WG members subsequently joined - including Stokenut and Flame Outlaw, who both served as leaders.[2] Unlike the majority of exodi before it, Fidelity described itself as an "event-based clan" - primarily focused on community (fun) events and skilling, rather than PvP - though they did host occasional wars.[3] Draken Burst also produced a large number of videos of Fidelity's events over the course of its lifespan, though these have all since been removed.
Draken Burst's relationship with WG was considerably negative - according to WG's Exile records, she had been abusive to two clanmates while in WG. During Fidelity's lifespan she created a "smear campaign" against WG, which resulted in her being banned from WG.[4] There are also records of her having disputes with WG members on the fansite RuneScape Community.[5]
On or around 19 June 2007, Fidelity fought and potentially defeated WG in a P2P miniwar - a video of the war was posted by Draken Burst in an RSC topic, but no archive of it exists.[6]
In June 2007, Draken Burst scheduled a public joint Castle Wars event with Reign of Terror, and invited the wider clan community. On the RSC topic, His Lordship expressed disappointment at her associating with a NH clan.[7] The event itself was held on 27 June 2007, and WG attended to crash RoT.
Fidelity closed on or around 1 December 2007 - the date on which Stokenut returned to WG after approximately 8 months. Stokenut retrospectively stated that he regretted his involvement with Fidelity, having resigned from his position on the WG Council to lead Fidelity mainly because he had been in a relationship with Draken Burst at the time.[8] Fidelity's RSC recruitment topic was last updated by Draken Burst on 23 November 2007, and by 6 December 2007 the Fidelity memberlist on RuneHead had been completely cleared.[9] By 15 January 2008, Draken Burst had updated her RS status on RSC to "Retired", and added "Quit" to her profile.[10]
