Operation Purple Haze (OPH) was a training programme for the Fighting Sector of the Wilderness Guardians in 2007 and 2008.[1]

Overview

OPH was launched around 2 August 2007, under the leadership of Tmal34 and Twizlers300, in an attempt to improve members' combat levels. A board on the Z6 forums was made for OPH, in which every member of the clan was given a forum topic. Whenver the member advanced a combat level, they were instructed to post the achievement on their OPH topic.

OPH lasted for four months, with the last achievement post being made on 22 January 2008. As a result of the programme, WG's average combat level rose by 2 F2P levels (in RuneScape 2, where the Summoning skill affected a player's P2P combat level).
