Website

The Clan Website is the website for the Wilderness Guardians, and can be accessed via wildernessguardians.com or wg-rs.com. WG has maintained a traditional website separate from their Forums since 2004. The purpose of the website is to attract new players and potential recruits, as well as serving to catalogue and document information and media pertaining to the clan.

2015 - Present

The current version of the WG website was designed by Mojo using HTML5. It is fairly simplistic compared to previous iterations, consisting of just one browser page divided into separate sections:

• Home - a landing section, with direct links for potential applicants to start the joining process.
• About - a few brief points of information about the clan.
• Requirements - details of the entry Requirements for potential applicants.
• Discord - an introduction to the clan's Discord server along with an invite code, as well as an embedded X feed.
• Why join - an embed of His Lordship's 2015 Recruitment Video.
• Footer - links to some surviving previous iterations of the clan website and Forums.

The navigation bar also contains links to start the joining process (a forum topic for Old-School RuneScape and a discord invite code for RuneScape 3), as well as a link to this Wiki.

History

AvidGamers

The AvidGamers website was a website and Forums combination used by the clan in its early days. It was considerably simplistic: apart from the forums it only contained an application form, written history, and a list of rules and beliefs. It was superseded by the FrontPage Website and the S7 Forums in April of 2004.

Second Website

A new and original clan site was fully constructed and released on 4 February 2004. Features included a message board, chat room, messaging system, games, disclaimers, and miscellaneous documentation. However, no known copies of this site have been archived, and it was replaced by the FrontPage website on 24 April 2004.
