Tell us about your RuneScape account and history.
Like a lot of people, I've played runescape for a very long time. I started in 2004, a couple months after Runescape 2 was introduced. It was my first online game and first step into any kind of socializing online. Me and two friends used to hide in the back of the computer lab in 6th grade and try to figure out some of the dumbest strategies to get ahead. Being young, I didn't realize how much you could look up online, so most of my information was collected by asking other players for help in game.
I got back into the game again my senior year of high school, quickly surpassing the stats of my youth. I had one other friend who played at the time and we loved unlocking all the content we had missed.
My current account started during the Pride event riots. When news of the riots spead to gaming publications, I was saddened to see how nasty the game I had loved could be. I created a new account, quickly got the rainbow scarf, and taunted the more hate-filled players at the GE with my gay ass. (I'm extremely excited to see that WG has a written stance against homophobia!) The rainbow event was quickly over, but I decided to get back into the game once more. I played infrequently for a while, but once mobile came out I was fully back in. I've played about 900 hours since mobile came out and now have the most powerful account of my life.
Tell us about your clan history.
I have no clan history in Runescape. Of course I've had plenty of friends in the game, but never one solid group.
The only clan I've ever been in was in the MMORPG Kingdom of Loathing where I created and led a 100+ member clan. But that ain't runescape
Tell us about your yourself.
I'm a dumb-ass gamer girl™. My main love outside games is playing music, I've been in several punk bands and currently play in a well known video game music cover band.
I'm in my mid-late 20s and live in the US. I have a BA in graphic design and work in advertising though I'm planning to move into the video game industry.
Most importantly, I have a 99 firemaking tattoo.
How did you hear about us? I saw WG gathering in the draynor bank. Said what up and someone mentioned joining. I was looking for a clan and remembered hearing about you at some point, looked you up and thought it sounded like exactly the group I was looking for!
What makes you want to join us? I want to do things with a group! I've played Runescape solo for a long time and seeing some of the group activities made me really want to get involved. They look like a lot of fun, and I've always seen wilderness guardians respected. Reading the rules and honor code made this clan seem especially cool.
Do you agree to the rules and requirements of WG and understand that this is an honour clan? Yes
Come clean about anything that may deter us from accepting you: I have never had a mark against any of my accounts, not even as a kid. I'm too scared of getting banned to ever want to bot and I'm a pretty nice person IRL and online.
