So my name is Ray, I'm 30 years old, and I live on the east coast of the US. I currently work as an EMT, and I'm in the final months of nursing school torture. Gaming has always been a main source of stress relief for me, and RS has come in CLUTCH for keeping my sanity during the hell of nursing school and covid lol.
I used to compete nationally in precision rifle shooting, but now just do it for fun. Now (well, pre-pandemic anyway) I get my national travel kicks in by competing in partner dancing. As you might be able to guess from those last two statements, I have a competitive personality lol

What makes you want to join us? When I came back to playing, just about all my friends had quit, and I'm tired of playing alone. Breaking into higher tier content is much more fun with a group of friends than random PUGs all the time. The game is what hooks people, but community is what keeps them around. You guys come highly recommended by my friend, and your longstanding history shows this is a community that lasts.

Only thing I'm aware of that might be a deterrent is that the back half of the program I'm in at school is brutal. Sometimes (around exams) I'm pretty strapped for time and sanity, and might have periods of a few days to a week where if I'm online at all, it's pretty afk-heavy activity while I study.

I started playing Runescape in 2005 and played mostly F2P stuff.
I played all the way through 2010 (in F2P, yep think about that..)
Then I had other stuff in life and went on break for 4 years (2010-2014).
I came back about a year after OSRS released. I was excited for this as I don't really mind EoC and RS3 (don't like the direction Jagex went with that..) I went on and bought membership (and wondered why didn't I do this before..)
My name is like "Rockheart" But I wanted to make it more unique or something. The name kind of just grew into me.

My favourite skills in RS have always been the combat skills, as I really enjoy PVMing, but I also enjoy doing more passive skills as well (e.g. firemaking) . Favourite "activity-skill" must be Slayer (currently going for 99 on that.) I enjoy killing bosses, but I'm still in the learning process regarding those. PvP is something I'd like to get into more and learn the clan aspect of that.

My name is Toni (male). I am 22-years-old. I live in Finland. Currently I study BBA. I work as a shift manager in restaurant when I can/want to, to get some side-money. My hobbies outside of gaming etc. is that I am a really passionate scout, working in high positions and giving a lot of effort for that.

I love music and listen to literally everything, from rap to heavy metal to pop to edm etc... I don't really know if I have any specific talents, sadly, but I am really passionate about the things I do. I am also pretty social person and like to chat a lot with people.
 
How did you hear about us?  I've heard about you guys before but I properly found about you through research, as I was looking on Google for proper clan for OSRS.
What makes you want to join us? I've heard you guys are really dedicated on what you're doing and that's exactly what I'm looking for. I want to have people around me that take this game pretty seriously (of course not forgetting the fun, hehe) and a proper clan to be a member of. You guys have been around for so long that I truly believe you know what you're doing, and I do want to be a part of that. Well. I was in Wilderness Guardians clan once... For 2 years+. Loved that clan & still love it.
I joined this clan when it was dead clan with 5 members.
But these 5 members were - all for me.
When I quitted WG 2 year later, I joined many clans (over 50+).
Got banned from most of them (since I'm not american - no other reason).
I don't want to list all the clans I went into. You can see them on the frist-second-third etc page in osrs forums.

This account is about two years old, I put a lot of time into it in the beginning, completed ds2 i grinded out vorkath for a while then quit. But as you know one doesn't just quit Runescape so over the last couple years ive been on and off. Recently, however ive been playing with a few friends irl and this has steeled up my motivation to raid and engage in other endgame content, i am currently working on learning raids (I just completed olm phase one right before filling out this application.) As for my history on Runescape I have played rs since classic on and off (i bought my first and last p hat set for the same price, 30k =)

I have bounced around from clan to clan (clans i found on the jagex forums,) for a while now nothing has really been a fit, i must say its been very difficult to find a clan that does what it says it does in its description.

What makes you want to join us? Well at first i joined souly on LIIonhearts recommendation but after reading your charter i am very interested in both the pvp and pvm aspects of your clan, I haven't found a clan that combines the two well and that is what i am interested in.

So basically, this means that you can retire and live off your savings and investments. I discovered this thing while browsing the internet and now I have decided to dedicate my 20s and early 30s to chase this dream.
 
What financial independence means is that once you have enough money saved up, you can retire early and enjoy your life without working a single day again. How is it calculated? Assuming you will live till 85, take that minus the age you plan to retire, multiply that by the cost of living. 
 
EX, if I am currently 23, and I spend 40k USD per year, and I plan to retire at 35, I need to save 2m USD.  
 
Obviously this is not realistic for most people. But it's not impossible. In fact you don't need to make 2m at all. If you are a college graduate and make 60k+ a year and invest 20k a year. According to S&P 500's performance averaging 10-11% growth annually. You will have 1.15m to 1.3m USD in 20 years. And over 2m in 25 years.
 
Also, some stocks pays dividends. Enough investing into stocks that yield dividends can last you a life time. Assuming you put 1m into a stock that pays 5% dividend, that means every year you will receive 50k cash.
 
PS, if you know a foreign language and can move to a lesser developed country. You can retire earlier and still live like a king. 
 
I'm chinese, and I plan to move back to China once I invested enough. 500k investment with 5% dividend yield 25k USD per year, convert that to Yuan is 162k yuan per year which is upper class life outside mega cities.

I started playing runescape back in 2007. My first account was called Scroogey and during my first pking trip I got backstabed and pked for studded chaps, a hard leather body, and a chefs hat; I was furious and ragequit the account to start a new account called addytiger.

In 2007-2011 I really enjoyed minigames such as castle wars, stealing creation, and fist of guthix.

I played on Addytiger from 2007 until 2011 and managed to get over 2k total level and max my combat stats. I quit playing runescape in March of 2011 due to my upcoming GSCE's.

Started playing runescape again in 2014 or 2015 as I had missed the feeling of the game.

WG was the first official runescape clan I have ever been a part of. I Joined back in 2016 and was active for a few months. I did dabble in some pure pking clans on an alt account for a few weeks but was not impressed by the attitude or mentality of the clan members (very immature, racist and homophobic jokes, etc.).

I have been lurking in WG CC since 2016. I make an effort to talk in the CC and go to GWD or other events with players in the clan chat despite not being ranked myself.

I have lived in several countries before such as Canada, and Australia, and i'm planning to teach english in Korea within the next few years.

Due to the pandemic/lockdowns all I really do nowadays is play video games and go for walks. :l
 
How did you hear about us?  I found out about WG through the official OSRS forums back in 2016
What makes you want to join us? I really like the chill atmosphere in WG. Everyone in the clan is friendly and willing to help eachother.

Come clean about anything that may deter us from accepting you: I am prone to long streaks of inactivity. I like to grind OSRS for a few months and then take a long break and play other games. However I am usually active on discord or steam so I can still be reached quite easily.

I previously applied for WG and was accepted back in July of 2020, however I didn't graduate as I didn't post enough on the forums. I took a break from OSRS for 6 months shortly after my application.

Most of what I have posted above has been copy and pasted from my previous application last year, not much has changed in my life since then so i've only added a few extra details.

So when I used to play back in the day I quit when I was around 94 strength and I never actually made it to a 99... You get no drop party because I'm poor af, sorry not sorry. 
 
I just made it to 99 range thanks in no small part to @Yasticaki and his guide on NMZ!
 
Unfortunately still not 95 to graduate but not far at all. Might do it by prayer as I fancy keeping 70 defence for a while and go for a decent med build. In the meantime, strength is next on the way in NMZ and I'll be bursting temple spiders for magic once I've hit 70 mage and completed Desert Treasure...
