It's a little like an OSRS version of DarkScape but way more harsh.
Personally for me I think it's too harsh but it will still be interesting to watch the progress of the game.

This is a public topic. I welcome input from anyone :)

So DarkScape was released 5 days ago and we started a CC the same day.
I'd learned from OSRS that the key to recruitment is to strike early but I could not have predicted the incredible growth to come.
At the time of writing we have 113 people in the CC and 38 currently online.

So now that we have a good base we need to discuss a structure for the clan.
Currently I've just been ranking current clan members and anybody who is clearly very helpful but it's not really a permanent solution.

So how do people think the DS clan should be structured? There's a lot of different things that could be discussed, I'll leave my own comments after a few replies.

Here are some simple tips if you're starting DarkScape. Join us in "Wilderness Guardians" CC too, it's open to all guests and there are no requirements to join!

You can find extra info on every single step using Google or RS Wikia.

• Do The Nexus to unlock all protection prayers quickly.
• Unlock lodestones. Most can be unlocked by killing yourself and changing your spawn in the game settings
• Adamant 2h (40 attack requirement) can be bought for roughly 6k in burthorpe. It is a VERY strong weapon.
• God Statues can be built monthly for lots of con and prayer or slayer exp.
• Tzhaar creatures can be killed with ease if you have an adamant 2h. They drop tier60 items. You can suicide them without food. If you die with tokkul, they will still only be visible for you. No need to keep banking them.
• Do the items in the path system
• Do the circus event
• Be sure to block xp in the game settings if you're building a pure. (almost positive this is possible, but I haven't had a chance to test)
• Do the waterfall quest for 13,750 attack and 13,750 strength xp. No requirements to do this quest.
• Do the Blood Pact quest to unlock a good training area for low level players.
• Do the stronghold of security for an easy 10k and decent melee boots. I believe if you have authenticator enabled you can use the portals to skip to the end.
• Do the stronghold of player safety for another easy 10k and decent melee gloves.
• Do most things in [noembed]this video[/noembed]
• Cowhides are a good early source of GP. Sell them on the lumby GE
• A clan vex is a great low risk area teleport item. It's free! Anyone can join the Wilderness Guardians to claim one :)

DS has a seperate CC system similar to RS3's system.
We formed a clan chat "Wilderness Guardians" yesterday and have recruited 20 people at the time of writing.

I've found a good strategy is to simply ask the people around you if they want to join a clan. e.g. I recruited 2 people when slaying cows.
If they say no then wreck them ##

So if you're playing DS all I ask is try and recruit some people who are around you!
If you aren't in the CC then get yourself in asap. Any rank can invite to CC.
Just looking to build a nice big CC to start with, no forums apps required.

Well Jagex have completely surprised everyone and have been developing a massive PvP update on RS3, although it uses separate servers. It's even F2P:

Haven't had the chance to try it yet but I'm quite pleasantly surprised that Jagex have put this much effort into a RS3 PvP update!
Also they seem to have implemented an idea proposed on Zybez almost 10 years ago. That of splitting the world into pieces and forcing people to walk between sections to transfer items.

so today It appears Jagex have finally fixed a long standing and contentious issue in 07, AFK training. The common methods were AFK splashing and AFK guthans. The hidden update made today logs you out of 07 after 20 minutes of no interaction with your client.

I'm pleased they've finally removed it but it's come way too late but never made sense to be able to train in a game without being there but since it was legal myself and many others used it to gain many levels! I'm disappointed that many of our newer members never got to use this OP training method while most established clans have many maxed accounts which used it.
