I can see it actually being used, by verying timezones. EG after an update/days with less players like mondays, during school time and whatnot. Total level worlds and the aussie ones are another form. PvP and +1 Worlds another. I mean if your geared in Full Karils/Bulkwurk/Serp and have a decent amount of brews ect your be okay except if caught in multi.
Would be one of those spots such as say pking at the lava maze under the maze itself rocks/dragons and finding somebody though, very rare but opportunistic.

After having this discussion multiple times in the clan chat. I've decided to do a post on it to try and raise awareness of it. In OSRS the playerbase has a general hard on for +strength items. However +STR is not always best, not only does it sometimes not raise your max hit, but the equipment is usually overpriced. Obviously if you're a maxed player with a 100m+ bank to spend just on equipment go for full bandos,prims and torture for best in slot everything. However the average member of WG won't have that kind of financial capital so hopefully this will help.
For example: Bandos tassets. As of writing this tassets cost 24.2m.
Providing the following stats:
I've noticed most players will choose to wear a Tasset/Fury combination costing currently 28m for both.The stats it gives together are:+86 Stab+78Slash+81 Crush+11 Magic+108 Range+10 In Stab,Slash,Crush Attack- 11 Magic+12 Range+ 10 Strength+6 PrayerIf however you wore a Verac Skirt + Torture Amulet it would cost you 12m 800k with the following stats:+15 Stab, Slash, Crush attack+ 10 Strength+ 6 Prayer+ 85 Stab Defence.+ 82 Slash+ 83 Crush+0 Magic+ 84 Ranged.Thats over half the price, for pretty much better stats in defence except for range defence. Obviously if you had torture and bandos the tassets is a different story.Onto the max hits:With the following gear, Super strength and piety you can max 47.Add in a amulet of torture for the extra attack and + Strength 2 it gives the same as tassets and its exactly the same max hit.Long story short. Bandos tassets are a waste of money unless your rich, get yourself a torture amulet instead! -
Theres going to be multiple spin off series. Personally I think the dance of dragons/conquest are the most likely but who knows. It could be more likely with them going with a film route for it. Bigger CGI budget and such.
Valyria --- Where the Targaryens actually came from, with all the freehold, origins of how that empire was forged. Can cover the various wars of expansion like against the Rhoynar who then had a large portion flee to Dorne eventually.
Tales of Sir Duncan the Tall and Egg --- Book series currently has 3, but his apparently writing more and it will take more before they do it as a series.
Roberts Rebellion - It would have good content, with younger versions of the actors before, however aparently his said everything will be answered about this in the books/TV show so it looks unlikely.
Aegons Conquest --- Pretty simple his conquest of Westeros.
Dance of Dragons --- Picture game of thrones now, except the royal family is split in two, and both sides have dragons and will be ripping chunks out of each other. Caused by one of the Targ Kings declaring his Bastards legitimate.
War of the Ninepenny Kings --- Sort of a extension of the dance of dragons after a fair amount of years. Tywin Lannister would be a young knight in this to give you a idea of how long back, also no dragons left.

Boaty third. Tbh he went for it too early, people just copy methods which gives a good advantage for the right candidate. Woox as ever is a beast though, if he tried to become a pro pker the wilderness/PvP worlds would run in fear!

I caved in and brought it on a double discount event at my work. Disagree massively with with the MTX shit same stance as RS on it. But I don't want to miss out on such a well done game due to that. EA are a bad publisher however DICE are an amazing developer, its a shame they are stuck with EA and not somebody like Naughty Dog in which they could smash big games out without having to be forced to earn money via shit like Lootcrates.
Campaign wise. It was fun, could've been more challenging but it was relatively simple in parts. I did enjoy the twist with playing as the empire. Little snippets giving info about the Aftermath book series was very cool.
Earning credits to unlock heros doesn't seem too bad. Around 300 per game no matter where you come from playing Galactic Assault which is a fun game mode with 20vs20 battles. I've only played as the Assault class so far whilst I learn maps but it seems like it will be a different game each time.
WARNING SPOILERS IN BOX BELOW
SpoilerRight now onto the bit I really want to talk about. The campaign has a chapter at the end in which you fast forward 30 years to just before the force awakens and you find Kylo Ren has captured one of the game's characters two lead characters Dal Mekko (the other the female Iden Verso) and is in the process of mind probing him attempting to find the map to Luke and Lor San Tekka (old guy who dies at start of the film, his like a Indiana Jones of star wars apparently very famous adventurer. Iden and Del seem to have been married after the Battle of Jakku sharing a kiss at the end of the battle. Before he is executed Del Menko says to Kylo Ren 'She's Dangerous you know' He could just be refering to Iden, who you play as during the game, and online when you unlock her as a hero. Or could be potentally speaking about Rey. Both Del Mekko and Rey also share british accents which is not common in the starwars universe... Iden is a specail forces soldier who is also a very good pilot... and Del a enginer... both of these are traits Rey has also.
A additional campaign DLC is apparently is due to come out 2 days before the last jedi releases in the cinema. With one of the game's writers actually warning people to play the DLC after the film. It all just seems way too coincidental to me. I honestly think these two are now Rey's Parents. Very interesting way to release/tease the information on it though!

Update:
Servers are still shite, find games quickly now but still lagg far too much.
Gunwise: Mp40, Tommy Gun and BAR have entered the frey. With the BAR being the biggest threat to the STG44. Slower fire rate but packs a hell of a hit. More like a hybrid Assault rifle/Light Machine Gun.
Tried zombies when drunk the other night. The cabin is really confusing. The village is cool but creepy got to level 27 online whilst drunk so was happy.

Thats likely actually a legit player, or a venuzulian goldfarmer. They don't bot but play the game like a bot does for smae reasons.
A few months back when I did a bit of green dragon anti pking on my pure. I saw bots reach almost max melee at greens, so it depends when they are around, they seem to come in waves really.

Dragonslayer needing 32 questpoints is fine. It will slow them a bit but not significantly, every little helps. Some of the changes do sound a bit stupid though, Hand in sand for mages guild shop? Why not just make it have a miniquest rather than a random quest in nearby town.

I miss PvP armour. Used to pk in the BH worlds with Full Statius, Fire Cape, Whip/Defender/DFS. Str Ammy, D Boot, BGloves and zerk ring had like 450 defence. Used bgs for specs since nobody really used restore potions back then over prayer.
The weapons not being included is good. Everything else should pass.

It would still be a form of pure, and I can afk easily on a pure as well just sit at sandcrabs rather than do slayer.

Starting a piety pure from begining would take a hell of a lot longer. I'd rather do it with a one defence and experience the lower brackets since you can jump into pking eaiser.
Upgrading the account is more about the money I could make using it as a alt at say Brutal Black Dragons and Gargs whilst maxing it.

Right, I've been considering this for a while now. Currently pure pking at my combat is a bit horrible with it just mostly being rushing, or Gmaul and tele from what most I've experienced. So my progress on it has sort of stagnated. Whilst pking on pures is fun, nobody in WG has a similar combat build meaning I have no teammates to go into multi combat and make use of my magic level to good effect.
What I'm considering is making my current pure into a Main of sorts/Alt to make money on. I've been steadily trying to level slayer but Cheldea is such terrible tasks you make very little progress on it as a one defence pure. If I gained defence and updated into a higher bracket for pking, I'd unlock Nieve for much better Gp gains meaning much better Gp/Bank will be made once I hit higher slayer which will be pretty quickly. I also already have points for a slayer helmet which is a MASSIVE incentive. Part of the enjoyment of pures too for me is making the perfect killing machine. So leveling it up higher by the questing requirements and such too is a bit of a enjoyment.
All the PK builds will be 60 attack for now. Until I could afford to put an AGS on it.
My options:
Going into a Berserker.
I was a Berserker on my current main when I first joined WG. However I made a mistake when getting Keys in Wildy GWD. Unwilling to risk my 20m Abby Dagger from a skill trick. I took my whip and forgot about the style change and was on controlled. Hit the undesired 46 Defence making my account look horrible without being a multiple of 5.
I never had the current magic level of the pure so this would mean pking with vengeance and more than a few quests to gain barrows gloves/defence to 45 perfectly. Although getting a torso and fighter hat seems a bit horrible again.

I'm leaning more towards a Piety pure as it was what I really felt at home with on the original game in around 06/07 World 36 Edgeville PvP scene. I could eventaully upgrade attack to 70/75 as well if desired.

Weapons are a bit lack luster. like Suffud said either run around with a SMG or the STG-44 or snipe. I dont see anyone else using anything other than those weapons, I havent had an issues with matching I get into the games quickly (not even 30 seconds and I play on Xbox). Map design is a little meh, most maps are small close quarters or something along the lines of that but Im not too picky with it.
All i'm seeing lately is PPSH, STG-44, Type 100. Occasional combat shotgun with explosive rounds. The odd quickscoper --> Wish these would just fuck off and die already, sick of the them. One thing i hate about cod is being killed in a CQC situation, smashing multiple rounds into somebody for them to quickscope me with an aim assist and think they are a bad ass.
Only map that seems to be Mid-Long range is Gustaph Train Yard. Rest are all very CQC.
