    I'm glad you've taken the signs seriously and have started taking action to counter the depression. 
    Fishing is a great option for that. :) 

    Take is slow and look for the small things that makes a good day. Be it moving the morning cup of coffee to a stump in the garden, the sound of running water, the birds chirping or the soothing feeling of throwing the fly fishing rod back and forth.

    Hello there! Long time no see!

     

    I remember you from back in 2006-2009ish when I was leader of TBE and we were allies and did some events together. 

    If you haven't been on OSRS since 2013 you're in for a pleasent surprise(I hope). Would be fun to have you around a bit again :) 

     

    As someone wise once said: RuneScape is a game you never quit, you only take breaks be it 10 minutes or 10 years.

    I'd say we can't too firmly divide what we call "online life" and "real life". Whether we use our real name or a nickname we are no less human. 

    We all go through shit in our lives, some more than others. At the same time the safety net each of us have in the form of family, friends, colleagues and governmental help differs a lot between us. For some maybe the only place they truly can ventilate their struggles is within WG.

     

    For WG and its members this means two things:

    1. WG is an arena where people feel they can truly be themselves and feel backed up through difficulties which might prove life changing. 

    2. And due to that the people of WG also are given a responsibility to take care of each other and to support each other through whatever life throws of shit. And to be aware of the fact that the nicknames we face every day we play RuneScape is in fact real people with real challenges in life which we can help with by actually listening, being supportive and daring to ask the question "How are you, really?".

     

    It might save lives.

    Tell us about your RuneScape account and history.

    I began playing before 2005 sometime.(I remember Slayer being released.)
    I have always been into PKing, and some good PvMing is always fun.
    In OSRS though I haven't reached good PKing or PvMing stats yet as I haven't had anyone to do it with, and the stats of my account signifies a lot of afk/non-focused training while watching TV or commuting.
    Hopefully being a part of a clan again will stir the inner beast of combat once again. ;)

    Of note is The British Elites and Solace(The Solace which Funkymunky11 ran).

    The British Elites(2004-2009(RS2)+2013-2014(OSRS)) (Was a leader of TBE for a couple of years as well as PK leader)

    Solace(2010-2012/2013(RS2 + a bit RS3))-Whenever Solace closed after reaching #1

     

    Tell us about your yourself.

    I'm 28 years old male from Northern Norway. Married, but with no children as of yet.
    I work full time, and have a 6 years university degree.
    Of hobbies I'm addicted to running and cross-country skiing, and play the guitar a tiny bit on the side.

     

    How did you hear about us?  I know WG from the time His Lordship was still around and TBE has a friendship-relation to WG.

    What makes you want to join us? WG has always been known for their good community, and that's something I'm looking for now when conidering joining the clanworld again.

    Also, most top clans seem to be mostly no honour nowadays, and the honourcode is highly valued by me.(Which sometimes got me into heated discussions back in Solace).

    In general I'm looking for a nice group of people for socializing and for some good PKing and Pvming both casual and at times a bit serious.

     

    Do you agree to the rules and requirements of WG and understand that this is an honour clan? Yes

     

    Come clean about anything that may deter us from accepting you: I'm still considered an Honoured Elite in TBE(Which basically means old retired lad still having access to part of the forums and who still can attend events if I want), but they are RS3 only, so it shouldn't matter much.

    Tell us about yourself.

    RS:
    I don't remember exactly when I began to play RuneScape, but to say it that way I remember when Slayer was introduced as a skill in RS2.
    I played actively until 2009, has a break until 2011 and played until EoC. After OSRS(or RS2007) I came back for some time, but it wasn't the same anymore and I retired once again. Now, after OSRS mobile came around I had a good excuse to skill the boring bits afk, and I've gotten some new energy into the game due to that the past year or so.
    As a former PK leader I obviously find PvPing exciting, but I am also fond of social PvMing and just hanging out with great people in general.

    IRL:
    I'm 28 years old, newly married with no kids as far as I know of. I work full time now after completing a 6 years university degreee last summer.
    In addition I'm Norwegian, and due to that I'm an aboslute ski-addict(Cross country-skiing in particular).

    A shame His Lordship has retired. In TBE Junglebiscuit is still rocking the rocking chair.
