When SPR closed i been playing alone and not joined another till i joined WG last year but i quitted from OSRS and played RS3 some months, now i am back at OSRS

I started playing RuneScape in June of 2004. Come 2008, I abandoned my first account and created a new account. I turned that account into a Ranged Tank, which I eventually maxed. I was working on my non-combat 99s and 50M Slayer (36M) and 200M Ranged (106M) when EoC dropped. If you were around then, you remember how it changed not only the fundamentals of combat, but also how combat levels were calculated. It became Defence + your highest offensive combat skill (mine was Ranged) + 2 for a total max combat level of 200. I was a ranged tank with 200 combat, but only 70 Attack and Strength (and 74 Prayer).

I couldn't compete with the mains. I went from level 106 to max combat level. In an attempt to adapt, I trained my Attack and Strength to 99. I continued to play, kind of, for 2 years into 2014, albeit much less and without the same drive to achieve. Sometime in 2014 I realized I no longer enjoyed the game. Not to mention the constant nagging thoughts about how I could be playing OSRS and actually enjoying myself, hindered by my lack of desire to start all over again.

Eventually I found myself less overwhelmed with the idea of starting over, and so here I am. I haven't gotten very far, as you can see by my total level, but I'll get there. I have about 10 days of play time on this account so far, and about half of that was during the 2 weeks of paternity leave when my son was born in August 2020. I've done some quests, just finished RFD about a week ago, and now I'm working on skill requirements for the remaining quests and the achievement diaries.

My favorite skills are Ranged, Slayer, and Agility. Although I've not done much of any of that since starting cause I want to get all the quests and diaries done first.

I was in Valhalla (a rune pure/ranged tank clan) back in the day.

I also founded and lead my own clan for 2 years from late 2009 until EoC dropped.

I guested with and briefly joined SoA for a short time.

I haven't been in any clans since 2014. In fact, I haven't played RS3 at all since then.

I've played since 2004. I like PvM, PvP, and everything on my main, though I haven't been playing it as much; I've been playing my ironman. I recently started up on the main again and want to get back into PvP. Its been a while, but I miss it!

I also have an alt account. 124 combat. I'm not on that account as often, but I can be caught out on it/pk on it.

I had a clan prior to WG, but I dont remember what it it was lol. I joined WG in early 2019 and went on rev sweeps regularly with the boys. Some of my best times with S M O K E, Aaight, 4474, Letaker, Genghis, and others. Unfortunately the clan kind of died out for a bit, and a lot of them found a new clan and I migrated with them. I still am in this clan, and have plenty of friends in here so I do not plan on leaving. I just miss the pk'ing trips and would like to return to those, which we don't really do. I ran into S m o k e the other day, where the squad slayed me at vet'ion, and he attempted to recruit me. While I won't be leaving my clan, after much consideration I figured I would attempt to be a part of the forums/discord here, and join in on PK trips and chill in the clan as a guest.

First of all my account was created in 2012 and the name means toast in my language that is Finnish. I have been playing on/off for a long time, however usually only for like 2 months and then I have forgotten about the whole game for a year or two. Mostly I have done some AFK skilling while in school but recently I have gained some interest in playing more actively and I have e.g. done lots of quests in the last couple of weeks.
As I said, I've been mostly doing skilling, and my favourite activity has been fishing. I have to admit that I don't know that much about PK:ing or combat stuff in general, but I am actively trying to learn more about the other aspects of the game as I play, and in the last couple of weeks or so I have made progress on that field!

My name is Jussi, I am 22 year second-year law student from Finland. My hobbies include video games (obviously), gym and cycling! In the past I have especially enjoyed FPS games such as Counter-Strike but in the last year or so I have kinda moved to other genres such as RPG and strategy games.
What comes to music, I do listen to almost anything expect the typical Spotify top50 list pop-music. If I had to pick a favourite genre, I would say rock, but it really varies a lot. For example, when studying, I almost always listen to jazz or classical music!
 
How did you hear about us?  My IRL friend known as Rokhart told me about the clan.
What makes you want to join us? I really miss the times when you could just enter teamspeak and you instantly had 10 firends to play with. Nowadays some people have stopped playing and the games that I used to play dont really interest me that much anymore. So I kinda miss the social aspect of gaming and meeting new people through videogames.
So a few weeks ago when I picked up runescape again and talked with my friend Rokhart, he told me about this clan, of the good atmosphere within it, and that it really gives more motivation to play! I also just want to meet new people and practice my english skills which really have gotten worse due to lack of using the language.
