    Hey David,

Glad you decided to give us a look and apply on the forums. It takes a special person to have the patience and the will to teach raids, or anything in general. I'm looking forward to you giving us a go, and meet our family. It's rare to find a place that is non-toxic, and I can say that this environment fosters non-toxicity. Can't want to hang out with you in-game and in discord!

What is your current RS name? Terpyy
List any previous RS names: Terpenoids
What is your total level and combat level? Total Level: 1810 as of 11/17/20
    Combat Level: 116

Tell us about your RuneScape account and history.
Like probably most people getting back into Runescape, the nostalgic 2007 feel is where it all began for me. I've had countless accounts from way back, leading up to the unfortunate release of EoC in what we now call rs3. I pretty much quit playing after that update like many, and once the announcement of oldschool was made, i found my self enjoying games through others via twitch or youtube. The nostalgic craving to play eventually had me cave in to creating an account right around the release of MM2, and i've been playing on and off since!

The current RSN is Terpyy, used to be Terpenoids, which both relate to terpenes you'd find in cannabis. You'll learn i'm an avid smoker, but not the stereotypical pothead as contradicting as that sounds. It is definitely a more medicinal use than anything, and i don't really take pride in saying i smoke weed lol, just someone who enjoys benefits from it that i can't get elsewhere.

I seem to play this game now as long as there is variety in between every couple of hours. I'm a big fan of raids, slayer, in general pvm, or social activities, but overall variety. I can't be asked to sit in front of the screen with the already few hours i get to binge playing, doing something like agility or mining, as you'll see reflects in my stats lol.

Tell us about your clan history.
I wasn't much of a clan type gamer playing oldschool again, but i found my self doing the same content over and over, and realized if i wanted to do anything with more than one player i would need a consistent group of people or at least some that are willing to teach me the more advanced content.

So i sought after a clan in the forums the same way i found you guys and joined one. The clan i seemed to have spent most time with, and i guess overall learned the most from was called Aries PvM, which unfortunately is not that active anymore, and i had taken a break long enough to justify maybe entertaining a new clan or at least group of players that can get together often or consistently. I've been hopping around a lot between clans now a days, just because my schedule and way of playing leads to getting on for an hour or two then off. Usually with bigger clans, and people in general i find it easier to stay in touch with voice in discord because too many people in a clan chat makes me not pay attention, and when i hop on, i always hop in discord because it just makes communicating and being involved far easier for me. Outside of that clan i can't say i've been with many others for a long time, hoping to maybe find one where i can always count on some of the same players getting together or just being involved and involving my self into the events or group activities.

    Tell us about your yourself.
Name's David. Born and raised Floridian, im 26 years old, graduated from college currently working in the food and beverage industry. Big fan of cash, grass, and ass! I'm somewhat of a social guy, if i'm not on rs playing with my free time, im out trying to find something to do, getting together with friends, eating, drinking or maybe just kicking it. Runescape is my idea of putting my feet up after a day of work, i don't take it too seriously but i also can when i need to.

I think a lot of the other details about me are more appropriate as im getting to know people but generally speaking, social guy, more on the mature side, enjoy conversations that are meaningful rather than trolling or toxic, and willing to help as much as i would hope to learn from those that can help me.

How did you hear about us?  Frog Wiz reached out via forums after he saw my post.
What makes you want to join us? From what Frog Wiz has said, and taking a quick glance throughout the clan forums, discord and general info, I thought i would give you guys a try. I did mention to Frog Wiz that im honestly more fond of a smaller clan, but to the benefit of the doubt, maybe i'll enjoy you guys.

Do you agree to the rules and requirements of WG and understand that this is an honour clan? Yes

Today, I had one of the best days that I’ve had in a while, and it couldn’t have come at a better time (right before finals week)! For my mental health event, I decided to chronicle an entire day, as I spent the day with friends and doing things that we love to do. I believe that the most valuable and important commodity that we all have is time, and who you spend your time with is the most essential part of living a life worth living. We’re really relishing these days, as after next week, all but my friend Ricardo and his fiancée Kimmi are leaving Iowa due to jobs and masters/doctorate programs.

The very first thing that my friend Ricardo and I do every morning is go to boxing practice. We both box for the Iowa State boxing club, and we’re sharpening up our skills in preparation for the Iowa Golden Gloves in the Spring. We had a sparring session today that resulted in an accidental harder than necessary punch to Ricardo’s nose, but like the Cuban masochist he is, he implored me to take a picture so he could “show off”. Don’t feel sorry for him; he outweighs me by 30 pounds and fucks me up more often than the other way around.

After that, because of Veteran’s day this week, I decided to do the Manion workout in honor of Travis Manion, a Recon Marine that was killed by sniper fire as he was helping drawing enemy fire away from his wounded Marines in 2007 in Al Anbar, Iraq. The workout consists of 7 rounds of a 400-meter run, and then 29 back squats with 135 lbs. I chose to wear a weighted vest for the runs, and this is the aftermath of the very FIRST round (didn’t bother taking pictures at the end because I was fucking dead). For more information on Travis, as well as information on his foundation that was created by his surviving family members, please go here:

    https://www.travismanion.org/about-us/who-we-are/

Please note, I’ve never had the privilege of serving in the armed forces myself, would never say that I have, and am not one that wears “military-civilian” clothing (shirts that say don’t tread on me, slow is fast, etc.), but I have a lot of close friends, roommates and family that are and were in the Marines, the Navy, the Air Force, the Coast Guard, and the Army. A way for me, an everyday civilian, to say thanks besides just thanking them for serving, is to attempt to try and experience just a microscopic sliver of the mental, physical, and emotional difficulties that they’ve faced during their respective times in the military. I (as well as my roommates) really love doing this by doing extreme workouts in honor of fallen service members, and just pushing ourselves physically in general. I figure that spending time to honor those who serve and have served is a good way for me to thank them (after all, time is the most valuable commodity).

I then visited my old friend, Saldin that I went to middle and high school with and my other friend Ross brought his son (Arlo) to catch up and just talk about the good ol’ days (Arlo loves beating up on Saldin). Ricardo and I then went back to my roommates' and I’s apartment for some good ol’ home cooked breakfast. Next, I helped Ricardo clean and rebuild his carburetor for his 1975 Yamaha DT-125 (I gave the bike to him for a Christmas present last year.

After that, I took a nice walk with my mom and dad, just to relax and spend time with them.

We went back to the apartment to chill a bit and have a bit of instrument practice, as the majority of us play instruments (I personally love practicing the guitar, ukulele, and banjo. The blue guitar on the top left is my classical acoustic guitar with an electric pick up, and by far my favorite guitar that I’ve had (7 years now)). Of course, being the gamers we were, we booted up a little old school Parappa the Rapper and Crash Team Racing on my PS1, then evolved into playing Battlefield One.

Our roommates one by one went to take a nap, but Ricardo and I decided to do another workout by “rucking”, which is basically carrying weight in a backpack and walking (he did this a lot when he was in the Army in Cuba, and I’m sure every fucking service member has experienced rucking). We all love doing GORUCK events (basically these rucking workouts over a couple hours and a dozen or so miles for the lowest/easiest event), and there usually are events most weekends around the world, but because of COVID none of us signed up for one this weekend. Here are some pictures of when we all did a GORUCK event a year ago.

I'm the one with the DFQ (Don't Fucking Quit) shirt.

So, Ricardo and I rucked for a few hours and for a few miles, with me snapping pictures every once and awhile, but not really caring about anything but talking about life. I personally am someone who has no social media at all, and that’s by choice. I barely even check my phone unless it’s an urgent notification from friends or family. It was a little harder for Ricardo to do that as he is much more interested in social media and such, and I did catch him looking up Facebook stuff during one of our many breaks along the way. Honestly, however, it was an absolutely beautiful and meaningful couple of hours as him and I talked about his baby that’s due in February (Kimmi of course stayed at home as she’s pregnant and pretty far along), life in Cuba, and the usual guy stuff (women, exercise, the meaning of life, etc.). Before long, we realized that we were walking on some train track and decided to turn around before we lost the daylight. Well… it didn’t work out. We basically rucked back home in the dark, but not before I snapped a couple beautiful pictures of the stars that were out.

After a shower and many glasses of water, I made a blueberry galette from a recipe I found online (didn’t want pie and I wanted to make something new), and we shared it amongst our other roommates.

All in all, it was a fantastic day, and we lived it to the fullest. I hope that everyone else has as well, and that they are enjoying their mental health weekend. The event goes until Monday basically, so don’t forget to post your own pictures (don’t worry about a long-ass write up; I just enjoy writing so most of my posts are super long) and most of all, ENJOY LIFE!

Had to work all weekend 12 hours shifts but I am taking some time afterwards today to start this wood carving kit that I received as a gift. I have been on a rotating schedule so my weekend starts tomorrow, I am planning to carve a lot more outside and maybe take a walk to pickup some food to celebrate the event. It is nice seeing everyone's photos of nature, I haven't gotten outside too much recently. I have hiked a lot in the past and the photos made me think about taking a hike sometime when the weather gets warmer🙂

Looks like you had a hell of a weekend Frog, good shit brother.

Here's a few pics from my trip to the dez with the boys:

Started near Canyon Sin Nombre & through Hills of the Moon.

Went hiking around looking for some Native American village sites & artefacts - Morteros, Manos, & grinding slicks pictured. Didn't find any arrowheads.

Came across a cave with a "fertility symbol" (Yoni) carved on top... And some amazing pictographs nearby, hundreds to thousands of years old. The large dragonfly is my fav. Blue & colors apart from Red/Black are very rare, so this was cool.

Ran into this beauty on one of the day hikes.

Camp Night 2 next to an ancient Kumeyaay Village (night 1 was a windy shitfest in a random wash)

A shot out my tent this morn. Ended with an quick walk around the village area looking for anything interesting.

    Desert = good.

    Welcome to our forums!

I'm really glad that you found us; especially by the search that you did. I think we have a lot of people that can vouch that WG is one of the few clans that are non-toxic, even with the amount of PKing that we do and just events in general. We also have a few RNs in this clan, Swedes, and Swiss as well, so you're bound to come across someone that can share some fun or interesting stories about any of those places or jobs. We look forward to getting to know you, and having you in our clan!

What is your current RS name? Zerulaxion
    List any previous RS names:
What is your total level and combat level? My current total Level and Combat level are 834, and 70, respectively!

Tell us about your RuneScape account and history.
I started playing maybe a week ago now, around the 8th or 9th.

My name Zerulaxion is a combination of 3 names I use for my characters on World of Warcraft: Zerinth, Tularus, and Galaxion!

On OSRS, I love bossing (I'm stuck on the Barrows, right now!), Magic, and Questing. With Non-combat skills, my favorites are probably Hunting, Cooking, Construction, and Agility.

Tell us about your clan history.
I've been in one other clan, D W D, where I was kicked for making a few harmless Runescape-based jokes in the span of 30 minutes. I.E "You'll get over it, it's like Ah Rim, I'll Barrow you from your other friends, if you can't crack, I'll call you Dha Rok"

    Tell us about your yourself.
My name is Sarah, I'm 26 years of age currently, and my country of origin is Switzerland. I was in the Swiss military for 2 years, before I obtained Swedish citizenship and served in the Swedish military for 4 years. I currently work as an RN at a hospital in the U.S., a job that I love, but has me working long hours! When it comes to hobbies, I mostly enjoy writing, cooking, playing games such as Overwatch and World of Warcraft, and of course, Oldschool Runescape. For Music, I'm into a U.S. Band called "Starset", but I listen to near all types of music. My talents are memorization, swimming, drawing, and playing the violin. I don't have any likes in particular, but my dislikes are toxicity, people ignoring others, and other signs of disrespect. Many people dislike me because if I see something that's wrong, I say something about it.

How did you hear about us?  I googled "Friendly OSRS clans" and this guild came up on Reddit!
What makes you want to join us? I'm searching for a friendly clan that I can call my own, and hopefully make friends in, and have a great time with.

Do you agree to the rules and requirements of WG and understand that this is an honour clan? Yes

Come clean about anything that may deter us from accepting you: For things that may deter you from accepting me, I have a habit of sometimes talking too much without realizing it, and maybe going on about something others find boring, or not worth their time. But if I get told respectfully to stop speaking, I immediately will. But things such as "Stfu" "Is this supposed to be interesting?" or "Are you talking to yourself?" will usually elicit a negative response from me, followed by my silence. If you want me to stop talking, you just need to say please.

I knew it. Smoke is a hippie. Jk. Neil Young 100%.

Five finger death punch is great too for sure, Gurt.

For me personally, huge fan of indie and folk. They sound great, and are fun to play on guitar.

Boys, learning to play the guitar for girls and playing ballads then realizing fuck getting girls, these song are just fantastic was my path to love ballads.

Bob Marley (I have his entire discography and sang along as a kid. Favorite song is probably either Trenchtown Rock or Redemption Song)

Mumford and Sons (Been a fan since day one, got used to their change sound wise and Snake Eyes, Woman, White Blank Page are my favorite songs)

The Boss, Bruce Springsteen (Mumford covered one of his songs and I like both the cover and the original)

EDWARD SHARPE AND THE MAGNETIC ZEROS (PLEASE, give a listen if you're a hippie like me, especially 40 Day Dream, Man on Fire, of course their song home

    Greg Laswell, the Lumineers, Coldplay

Sleeping at Last (love his covers as well as his space albums!)

Willie nelson, the head and the heart for more peace loving, love making, long hair wearing lovers of life

Johnny Cash (his ballads and also songs like man comes around,  gods gonna cut you down, and countless more)

The White Stripes (Catch Hell Blues especially) and Biting Elbows (For the Kill and My Woman) when I work out or want to rock out

Explosions In The Sky - All time favorite band, completely instrumental. I 10000% recommend a listen. The Earth is not a cold dead place is my favorite all time album and songs like your hand in mine, Wilderness album songs, literally the majority of their songs on all of their albums are fantastic.

What is your current RS name? JustBBQ
List any previous RS names: All though I've been playing a couple of times over the years, i can't really recall any of my old account's any longer, but they weren't anything special either.
What is your total level and combat level? Hello Wilderness Guardians!

    Short Summary:

My name is Christian and im 29 years old from Denmark. Im living together with my girlfriend and our two sons, the oldest being 4 years old and the youngest just 1 month. So im off work for a couple of weeks due to maternity leave. I'll get back to my work late December, as a truck driver for Royal Unibrew - i only work night shifts and can easily afk farm while working most of the times, lol.

    Current CB:

My current CB is 60 - I am aware that my current CB is low, but i'll promise i will push it up fairly quickly - also quite low due to still being 1 def.
If this is a issue, and a reason for you guys to reject me, i will 100% understand.

All though it would make me very happy, to be able to join before i reach the end goals, so i can start socialize with rest of the members in WG, while building up my account towards the endgame pvp events.

    Future Plans:

I was actually going for a 1 defence pure using gmaul, but pretty quickly I've changed my mind, since I'd like to be able to get to the end game and compete for higher rewards/risks - also more options in form of high end gameplay.

So the new plan is going to be, to reach endgame with these desired stats: 60/75 attack, 70 defence, 99 strength, 99 ranged, 99 magic and 77 prayer.

Im a very motivated person with the right dedication to make things happen, if i set myself a goal im striving to reach it.

    Knowledge:

Since there is still many parts of the game, where i could improve knowledge wise, I'd like to place myself with some experienced players. This allows me to leech good tips and tricks to progress even quicker in the game, and helping me to reach my endgame goals.

I'll do of course keep myself updated on forums and guides to keep track of new stuff, and don't mind spending time improving myself on this subject.

    Beneficial Quests:

Attack: - Death Plateau, Vampire Slayer, Fight Arena, Waterfall Quest, The Grand Tree, Tree Gnome Village, Horror From The Deep, Animal Magnetism, Restless Ghost, Priest in Peril - to mention some of them.

    Unfinished Quests:

Im planning to do all defense/strength reward quests in the near future - pretty much all quests that give skill pts.

Tell us about your RuneScape account and history.
I am a returning player, and instead of making a complete new account from scratch, i had access to my old pure account, which i didn't finish back in the days.

Name is JustBBQ - pretty self explanatory.

Tell us about your clan history.
I don't have any prior clan history worth mentioning, back in the days we were a group of friends that teamed in wildy for funs, now i wanna be a little more serious and play with the big boys.

    Tell us about your yourself.
I already did tell a little about myself in the free speech box, but i might have forgotten to mention that i am able to stream our PK runs.

How did you hear about us?  RS Forum
What makes you want to join us? WG seems to have much history and are respected by many other RS players. This means a lot to me. I believe having a strong reputation only makes the community even stronger and be a motivational factor for many members.

I have been on your CC for a few days, haven't chatted that much yet - but been following the chat and it seems like there is a bunch of great people in your clan already.

Do you agree to the rules and requirements of WG and understand that this is an honour clan? Yes

Come clean about anything that may deter us from accepting you: I don't really see any downsides, except the lack of training/CB - i'll catch up quickly.
