WG Jester Tell us about yourself. I’m 27 from northern kentucky. I help manage the front end/customer service department of one of the biggest/busiest stores in my company. I’m married with two kids and it sucks. (Jk married life is cool and kids are fun) I’ve been playing osrs for maybe a year/year and a half and I’ve been more consistent in the past year as I was helping my brother powerlevel on his main, which is the account I now play on most. I’ve been playing RuneScape in general since maybe 2007? Idk, the stronghold of security was pretty fresh as I was playing. I played on and off on my main, Armthehobos, before a combination of other games and the far fetched updated to rs2 pulled me away. Clan history. I’ve been in two other clans in my history on the game; RuneScape Scorpions and Imperial Forces. I was just a low tier shitter with rss but I became a warlord focusing on calls and tanks during F2P clan wars, back when that was a big thing. My pk and warring experience is brief but I’m not unfamiliar to a tactical leadership role during combat. In members however I am a scrub bitch so I have a bit to learn. How did you hear about us? I realized that one of these doesn’t exist for myself; I am not the person who originally applied to the clan and I’m not the original owner of this account, but my brother had abandoned his interest in this account and it’s affiliates shortly after joining the clan. I wanted a chance for everyone to properly become acquainted with myself without me having to explain to every individual who asks about why I’m not the guy who applied. I realize this will be a bit weird coming from someone who’s already been in the clan for a bit. Regardless, I want folks to know who I am and what I’m about.

their whole thing was "these are cool aesthetics we know the players want but we need to justify paying for them". they could've done what they've been doing the entire time with cosmetics; adding them to clue scrolls. they could've done events with clue scrolls like "We added all the aesthetics for houses/teleport skins/emotes to clue scrolls and we will do events as a part of every update which will vastly increase the chances of certain items, brought to you by This Company, That Company, etc". the new investors and whoever their head of marketing is are morons, this shit is basic.

EOC and MTX were different things. MTX happened before EOC did, with the introduction of the loyalty program, squeal of fortune and the ability to buy spins for a potential p2w scenario of farming for bonus exp, exp lamps and items worth money. EOC happened a bit after and was the nail in the coffin for a lot of people who grew tired of unpopular changes to the game.

Star Trek TNG on Netflix and Letterkenny on Hulu. Letterkenny is some of the funniest shit I've ever seen.

My favorite quests are going to trigger everyone Underground Pass: legit the best quest in the game. The entire quest reads like a psychological horror and is placed in the loneliest, most hazardous place imaginable. The things you have to do to progress are fucked, Iban is whispering to you the whole time, and the frustrations of failing jumps at integral parts of the quest add to the despair that you should be feeling in such a place. The quest is an emotional masterpiece and the relief you feel after finishing it and getting access to the elven lands is immeasurable. Least favorite quest is fuckin RATCATCHERS. Its so pointless and unfun.

If they can find a way to add MTX that is as one-dimensional yet tasteful as bonds are, I think people won't mind. I don't feel like I'm alone when I say I'd LOVE to throw money at Jagex. But it has to be healthy for the community as well as the development of the game.

I think warding is gonna be super cool and is going to bring fresh changes to the way people pvp/pvm, as well as introducing the concept of a skill-based item sink to the game, the latter of which is becoming more necessary as the days continue.

i think that mightve been my brother asking. he had asked recently after attending a couple events and some folks told him (idk who) that he wouldnt have to apply. i reckon they were assuming it was just me, just trying to participate on a pure for whatever reason.

I spent my days sitting at moss giants or giant spiders in the stronghold. thats all i did besides sometimes powerfishing at barb village.
