2014 was the eleventh complete year of the Wilderness Guardians in RuneScape 3 and Old-School RuneScape.
Summary
2014 saw Brent147 temporarily take over leadership duties from His Lordship, and the closing of SG which had been catering for the RS3 aspect of the clan. WG took another shot at the annual Jagex Cup, again with moderate success. PvP in OSRS had calmed down significantly, but remained fairly stable thanks to the first Wilderness Rejuvination. In late 2014, Brent stepped down from leadership and PineappleTom was promoted to Advisor (council) to join former DG Advisor Mojo.
Major Events
- January 1 - WG's requirements were raised to 100+ combat and 70+ ranged.[1]
- January 7 - Starzhine was promoted to Advisor of SG.[2]
- January 12 - WG reintroduced the Application Manager rank, and the first holder was Patty.[3]
