Come a long way since the start of this topic, stats lookin sick Koods! 

Welcome back man! Always good to see familiar faces make a comeback.  

A little progress update on things so far; I put the prayer goal first and knocked out 1750 total along the way so that's the first 2 goals done. Since the fishing competition  was going on I decided to spend some afk time fishing but it kinda spiralled out of control, especially since a few days ago I was dragged into a hcgim group. Wasn't gonna take it seriously at all, but ended up being so much fun. That entire gamemode has been one giant meme so far I swear.  


 
 So I ended up playing that and kept afk fishing on the main. And fishing, and more fishing.. ended up getting 7 agility levels so far and kinda figure I may aswell afk my way to 70 agility since I need that for song of the elves anyway. Gonna play the HCGIM in the meantime.

Hello folks! So most of you know I joined WG when my 'main' (ol phantasm) was just a starterup that I made so I could enjoy more of the game other than just pking on my pure. But to be honest, I haven't done much actual scaping other than getting my combat to 120 in nmz and pking a bunch with you guys or being somewhat inactive otherwise. Well recently I've been a lot more active in scape and I actually feel a bit of a resurgence in my passion for the game outside the wildy. So I've set some short and long term goals for my account that I thought I'd share. 

Starting out, these are the stats / achievements:


Lets be real, it's not very impressive  

My short term goals are:
- 92 pray
- 99 mage since I literally stopped at 98.5 and then forgot about it 6 months ago
- Kandarin Hard diaries, since what the fuck why did nobody tell me it increases your bolt crit %
- Wilderness Hard diaries, so I dont have to ask for taxi's to/from ferox enclave anymore
- 1750 total, so I stop missing all the good fights in total worlds lol
- Song of the Elves, cause everybody keeps telling me the unlocks are super legit and it will keep me busy for a bit
- Elite Void set
- A pet. Any pet. 

After that, I'm looking at steadily grinding towards some real longer term goals:
- 2000 total
- 500m / 750m / 1bil bank for PvM gear
- Quest cape
- 500 / 750 / 1000 collections logged
- 1,000 clues completed
- 5 PvM pets

Eventual end game goals are basically max stuff as far as it can go aslong as I feel the desire to play the game. But I think realistically I'd want to accomplish the following:
- All diaries completed
- 2200 total
- The inferno. Maaaaaybe. 

This topic is essentially just a place I can post some cool or funny stuff I find along the way.  I may post a bunch at times and not a lot at others, but will try to keep some progress posts flowing.

Tell us about your RuneScape account and history.
Playing since 2007, retire off and on. Played mostly solo for majority of my RS career, hence the name! Planning on slowly maxing, but fuck Runecrafting. I've been on OSRS since the second day of release (wasn't able to get on the first day 🙃). 
 
I mainly tend to just focus on one skill at a time and level until 99, but don't really care for a lot of the remaining grind, hence putting in 4k hours and still not maxed total 🤣. For the most part, I've pked solo and bossed solo most of my RS career. Had a small friend group that used to do a lot of bossing with, but has since dissolved due to people growing up and starting families, school, etc. Hoping to find a great community of like-minded people here at WG!
 
Tell us about your clan history.
Pked with DK, FF, Dino, and CT in the past. Ran into a group of pkers the other day when I was out pking (WG clan) and impressed enough I suppose to not only start up a convo of mutual respect after the fight, but get invited to apply to the clan as well.
 
Tell us about your yourself.
Married father of one. IT professional from USA. Enjoys pking and pvming, and hates to be pked I play the Ukulele and love football/soccer/basketball.
 
I've lived in Hawaii for most of my life and have no desire to move (unless my ping is awful, then it's about every second). I've got a strong support system here with family on both my wife's and my own, and it's just comfortable and a blessing to be able to call this paradise home.
 
In the progress of building our dream home right now. Can't wait to start pouring the concrete so we can finish it. Hopefully, in about 2 years we'll be done.
 
 
How did you hear about us?  NFS invited me. Heard about you guys a long time ago when I was still involved the scene, but we didn't cross paths often in the wilderness, outside of a few times.
 
What makes you want to join us? Been out of the scene for a few years and ready to get back in. Learned from my mistakes and ready to join a legit RS community again. Want to just be a part of something in the community again and be able to have people to pk and boss with. A bit tired of living the solo life!
 
Do you agree to the rules and requirements of WG and understand that this is an honour clan? Yes
 
Come clean about anything that may deter us from accepting you: I've helped scam a new clan member before in the arena. Not the best moment, and ended up losing a lot more than the temporary monetary gain that I received. Grown now, and now that I've got a family, my outlook on life has changed.

Stats after the weekend of low/moderate playing ended up killing giant rats in the varrock sewer to cook the meat for 32 cooking.

When I was younger, at the age of around 10, my classmates showed me the game. Instantly got hooked although I couldnt play much as my parents wouldnt allow me. I went over to my neighbours to play like 1 hour a week. At the time I was SOOO happy I got my first 3000gp from killing goblins. At the time I also didnt know the concept of trading. Not being able to speak english was also kind of a barrier for me to get into the game.

Later I got an account from a friend and the account was litterally 10x better. After a while of not playing, I simply forgot the game. Dont get me wrong, the first few weeks of playing runescape were absolutely amazing! Then I moved on with life.

Fastforward a few years (to february 2015): I heard about the release of free to play osrs a few weeks before actual launch. I waited around and my inner child from long ago got out. I was over the moon to be able to play the game again.

I played f2p for a decent while, decided for myself that i would get about base 50s (except runecrafting, cus i dont like rc as much :P) before i would go to members. I played members for a few months, then the grinding was getting to me (even tho levels went by fairly quick) i stopped playing for around a year and then created a F2P only ironman (IronGainer). After i got bored i kept playing on my main, and ive been playing fairly consistently so far.

When i got my first time members, i INSTANTLY went to go do slayer. Its currently my favourite skill. my least favorite skill is agility although it is very useful.

Im Gert-Jan, from the netherlands. I really like gaming and tend to switch it up alot. Games ive played before and liked include: DOOM, DOOM eternal, Terraria, Minecraft, COD:BO3 (specifically for the "roll the dice" mod and zombies with friends), RS3, Deep Rock Galactic, Rimworld, Skyrim, Stonehearth, Minecraft:Dungeons and of course, OSRS. What makes you want to join us? As ive been in the clan before, its the people and the activities :) if it wasnt for this clan, id have quit the game by now

Thought I'd post this for some people to have a laugh at my expense.
 
Thanks to @Why Try Guy motivating me in competition, and @Corbula's magic skilling competition, I finally got 90->99 magic! I'm currently sitting pretty @ 3rd place in the competition ( @koods also got 90->99 this comp, and he took my 2nd place spot!).
 
Once I got 99 Magic, I couldn't bring myself to keep grinding magic XP while my ranged was also sitting @ 90. I figured if I was gonna keep spending time at monkeys, I should be chinning instead of doing magic, for best account progress. So I did!
 
Big disclaimer: I did this extremely inefficiently. For me AFKness is the real value, so that means as few clicks as possible. That meant that rather than standing in the corner of the room and doing the walk thingy to stack the monkeys, I just stood with auto retaliate and let the monkeys come to me. This dramatically reduces XP rates by like 20-30% (and thus increases costs by that amount), but that's super worth it if you're someone who only wants to click on their client ~once every 6-10 mins or so (rather than having to click multiple times per minute).
 
So anyway here's the supplies use for 90->99 Magic, and 90->99 ranged...
