2015 was the twelfth complete year of the Wilderness Guardians in RuneScape 3 and Old-School RuneScape, as well as the first year of DarkScape.
Summary
As 2015 came around, WG continued to maintain a balance between OSRS and RS3. Though this was highly uncommon in the clan world, both games remained fairly popular between members. WG was also helped by way of a new recruitment video in March. A highlight of the year was the release of DarkScape variant of RuneScape: an open PvP environment which WG took to immediately. At the same time, His Lordship was also becoming increasingly pressured with real life, and stepped back from leadership to the rank of Founder. Mojo and PineappleTom took up leadership duties for OSRS and RS3 respectively.
Major Events
- March 14 - WG released their 2015 recruitment video, produced by His Lordship.[1]
- June 11 - His Lordship's rank was changed from Leader to Founder due to his waning interest in RuneScape - WG's leadership became the responsibility of the Advisors.[2]
- July 5 - Jared and Hathor were promoted to Warlords.[3]
- August 18 - WG's OSRS requirements were raised to 85+ combat.[4]
- November 4 - Zemus was promoted from Eventmaster to Advisor.[5]
- November 18 - "WG_CC" was created and announced as WG's Clan Chat on OSRS, replacing "His Lordship".[6]
