Hello everyone, My name is Magnus, I’m a 27 year old married man. I’m the bigger brother of “Grovsomfaen” which sadly newly took a brake & hopefully will be back. I want to start off by being honest, I’ve been a ghost in this clan from the beginning of April. I haven’t taken the time to put my self in to how the forum works, congratulating and welcoming new members, nor getting to know the existing member when I first got here, anyhow I’m attending to become the clan member you all deserve This is not an excuse, but an explanation of why I am so egocentric and why I’ve been standing in the shadows grinding skills and levels. I had sold an account I was given and acc was recovered by og. I paid the buyer back instantly and cleared my name for that. Last year I was in a clan named Goat Mafia. The owner and I, Tre Dingus had this clan running great. Tre found out he can make money servicing people's accounts for money using a bot client and I told him I didn't want services in clan. He left and made a group called Mafia services which I was never affiliated with, He has now been scamming and getting accounts banned ect, But I am not apart of that, and have blocked him from every page/discord ect. Unfortunately the clan I had He kept threatening to delete discord ect causing problems with me so I walked away and clan disbanded. It's important to know what to expect before joining. Summary Level Requirements: None Suggested for PvM: 100+ Combat. Suggested for PvP: 110+ Combat with 85+ Ranged and Magic. Since 2003, the Wilderness Guardians have been an honour clan. This means we respect the integrity of the game, we respect others, recognising there is a human behind the screen and we show respect to other clans. All scammers are reported to RuneWatch. We expect a good level of community activity from those joining us. Members should be actively following unread content on these boards as well as using Discord and WG_CC, our Clan Chat. You may not join other PvP clans. If you join other PvP teams or non-PvP clans we will uphold our usual activity standards and carefully track your progress. Upon posting your application you will be asked to wait for 24 hours to allow you to integrate with our community and get to know our members a little better (and vice versa). It is then your responsibility to use the #osrs-app-review channel on Discord. Upon joining you will then have three weeks to graduate to our full member rank. Preface: I joined Wg a month or two after starting osrs, and I was a noob who hoped to do barrows and vorkath. I saw this as something unattainable at the time, and saw things such as raiding and inferno as something I could never even attempt. Since then, ive been attempting the inferno, sending raids, and even achieving a 500 fang kit, which I couldnt even dream of back then. How was I able to go from noob to less noob? Having fun and challenging myself. Setting a goal and slowly chipping away at the goal, and enjoying it while you do. Ive died several times and failed many times, and I can say its all mental. Put yourself in uncomfortable positions, die, die again, and you will learn to die less and improve. Watching videos, learning from our wonderful PvM mentors, and being active. These are all things I did daily to eventually get to where I am. Again, its attainable for everyone and anyone, and hope this gives motivations to those who think "Ill never be good enough". You will, it takes time and effort. A big issue also comes with the broke mans mindset. I fell prey to this too. It is worth to spend gp to progress your account and improve your efficiency. Saying you dont want to learn a method because "its too hard" or "im too lazy" adds to never improving. You have to challenge yourself. Sure you can afk, but if you want to improve you cant approach a method that seems intimidating because "ill never be able to do it" If you feel like you need a sense of direction on how to progress, PM me, WG is home to some of the best people that want to see you improve. Very nice!! Node.JS is one of the things my course has coming up soon actually! React, NPM, Express.JS is gonna be at the same time as Node, SQL and Mongo DB are a few others when I get into the back end section, Ahh Ill be honest the only reason I wanted Java was to make custom Minecraft plugins haha, A buddy of mine owns a server and I was looking to help him with some haha! I thought they used Java for the plugins :X The other languages I had interest in learning was C++ and C#, but I just want to get very comfortable with Javascript before I try to do that. Im hoping to land a better job as a back end programmer when Im done with this course, it teaches whats needed to be job ready. I dont have a great eye for design, so unless a company has a designer my front end skills end at the coding LOL. Ill check that out! I do want to learn Python, I know its very widely used in many aspects
